Belgian Snider Carbine, #692, .577 cal., 21-1/2'' barrel, brown finish, bronze buttplate, triggerguard and forend cap; lockplate marked 1876 to rear portion, ''F.A.'' to central portion of lockplate. Carbine additionally features side lug for saber-type bayonet, cleaning rod, and breechblock marked ''Snider's Patent'' with ''S'' and arrow motif. Stock is cartouched ''F.A./88''. Condition is very good with moderate toning to white surfaces. Stock with even scuffs, light dings and toning. Action is good, bore is fine. Est.: $450-$600. (Antique)
